Verifying OpenMC with standard problems?

Greetings,
I have a question whether there are certain models etc.
which can be simulated by OpenMC and then compared
to some reference data in order to verify the correctness
of its results? I tried a bunch of the examples and they
work like they supposed to, but I have no reference to
crosscheck the results.
Best regards and up forefront many thanks for the replies.

I would suggest looking at the following collections of benchmark problems:

If you have access to another MC transport code, another very useful exercise is to do code-to-code comparison on the same model. In that case, the problem doesn’t need to be an established benchmark or even one that represents physical reality.

Thanks. I applied for one of the benchmark pdfs.

There is also an effort centralized by IAEA (GitHub repository here) to collect computation benchmarks which can be useful for V&V of computer codes.

For your information, the JADE V&V tool suite is able to compute computation and experimental benchmark both in OpenMC and MCNP thus compare the results being possibly very useful in the V&V also of OpenMC itself.
