Some of the neutron reactions such as n,alpha produce alpha particles. It appears that it is possible for these alpha particles to continue and undergo nuclear reactions them selves. It would be super interesting if I could simulate alpha transport in openmc and see what reactions these alpha particles undergo and the products produces. It looks like a few other MC codes transporting ions, perhaps this is something openmc could consider in the longer term?

I think alpha particle reactions would also be of interest to Inertial confinement fusion at FLF but also in general to all Inertial confinement fusion systems
