Thanks for getting in touch, and glad to hear that you are interested in the depletion effort. I had proposed this a few months ago and actually started work on an implementation (https://github.com/paulromano/openmc/tree/depletion). I have most of the CRAM method already implemented as well as some subroutines for reading decay data and fission yields. That being said, there is still quite a bit of work to be done. What I would suggest we do is move this conversation to the OpenMC developers list (https://groups.google.com/group/openmc-dev) since this is not really a user’s issue per se. As it sounds like you have some prior experience working on depletion, I’m sure you probably have your own ideas for development; it would be good to understand each other’s vision so we can agree on a path forward.
