I wondered if someone already used openmc for surface recovery computation (see https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S030645492300035X#f0005)
It is a two step scheme:
- First, record neutrons phase space hitting a closed surface.
- Then, run a fixed source computation of the geometry inside the surface with the source built from the first step.
It seems to be feasible with the code in its current state but quite painful, so if you already did such computation, how did you built the source ?
