I have seen a few Intro to OpenMC workshops over the years and have caught or co-taught a few : ) It would be awesome to have intermediate and advanced level OpenMC trainings as well. There’s some real interest here at INL for more advanced-level OpenMC instruction if such courses were to be offered.
As one of the individuals who has organized OpenMC workshops, I would wholeheartedly agree with you. We’ve had discussions about opening up intermediate/advanced workshops and while the interest is there, it does take a lot of time and resources. Also, with our courses currently being hosted through NEA, there are some constraints on what we’re able to do. In any case, if we do ever manage to materialize something like this, it will certainly be advertised here!
