Dose from activated cell

Hi all, I’m studying the activity of an activated blanket module. I’m trying to essentially:

  • Irradiate a blanket module mockup using a point 14MeV neutron source for a timeframe.
  • Then remove the source and find the dose on a phantom just from the activated blanket.

So far (for simplicity) I’m doing a depletion simulation on a sphere of Li4SiO4, and setting up a tally of photon dose on a phantom standing 5m away.

I’d expect to get some gamma rays and thus some dose imparted on the phantom but so far it’s clocking zero Sv. I can’t work out why and would be very grateful if someone could take a look at my attached script and give me some pointers.

I’m running in the neutronics workshop docker container; I copied bits of code from exercises 9 & 14
