Photon Spectrum Analysis

Hello all,

I am running a coupled neutron-photon simulation in an infinite lattice where I have tallied the photon flux. The photon spectrum shows distinct peaks and dips at different energies. My goal would be to identify the underlying production mechanism associated with each peaks to analyse in detail the spectrum. Is it possible to score the photon emission source?

If anyone has recommendation or insights on how to approach this problem, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Just a thought, i would start by looking at the neutron resonance interactions (adsorption, scatter etc.) and the the photon interactions for resonance peaks (k shell, etc.)
