Openmc Voxel plot not showing in peraview

Hello, I am running the openmc sample project pincell. I made change for voxel plot in plot.xml as below.

<?xml version=**"1.0"**?>

<plot id**=“1” color_by=“material”>**

voxel

0. 0. 0.

4.0 4.0 4.0

400 400 400

After the plot_1.h5 file is generated I run the openmc-voxel-to-silovtk plot_1.h5 command to create the .vti file. I open the .vti file in peraview. there is nothing htere. see the screenshot. What am I doning wrong? Thanks.

Hello, Also, same issue with Vislt. Can anyone work with voxel plot in openmc can help me here? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Sharif,

To view the voxel plot in ParaView, you need to:

  1. Click the ‘Apply’ button in the Properties panel
  2. Change the ‘Coloring’ to ‘id’
  3. Change the 'Representation to ‘Surface’

To view the voxel plot in VisIt, you need to:

  1. Under ‘Plots’, click Add > Pseudocolor > id
  2. Click ‘Draw’

I was having the same issue mentioned above but have managed to plot the after your feed back.

Is there any way of visualizing tallies in Paraview?
