Hi,

I have a small questions about the capabilities of OpenMC: Is there the possibility to tally produced photons energy wise? This would help me a lot for a project I am working on.

Hi Christopher,

I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking. Do you want to tally:

  1. The yield of photons produced as a function of incident neutron energy, or
  2. The yield of photons produced as a function of the outgoing photons’ energy, or
  3. something else?

I think in all cases, the answer is currently no, but some of these may be relative simple to implement. If you let me know which you want, I can tell you how easy/difficult it would be to add.
