In data.NATURAL_ABUNDANCE Tantalum is split into Ta180 and Ta181. According to wikipedia (and other sources) Ta180 should be replaced by Ta180_m1.

Hi @FaustoM. Yes, you are absolutely right. I have come across this before and the problem is that in some previous nuclear data libraries no neutron cross section evaluation was provided for Ta180_m1 (only the ground state). However, it does seem that newer libraries like ENDF/B-VIII.1 and JEFF-3.3 do have Ta180_m1, so we should probably update the data accordingly and perhaps have a fallback for libraries that don’t have the metastable. Thanks for bringing this up!
