As hexagonal lattice is not handled yet by release 0.6, I overcame the problem by creating rectangular lattices representing one row of fuel elements in xy plane and bringing together these rows to construct the reactor core. A shift of half pitch along the row axis is necessary to produce an hexagonal distribution of fuel elements (as shown in attached figure).
I have just to verify that the ration water/fuel is correct. Criticality calculations with this model lead to a result in a very good agreement with those obtained by MCNP code.
