Dear OpenMC Forum, I was wondering if OpenMC supports Weight Window with FW-CADIS method not only for neutrons, but also for photons.

Currently the OpenMC Random Ray solver that can generate FW-CADIS Weight Windows, only supports neutrons.
Photon support is planned (and I would very much like to see it!)
You can convert any MCNP wwinp to OpenMC Weight Windows; so Advantg FW-CADIS, CADIS, neutron, photon.
Depending on your application, you can also use a more “engineering” approach whereas you multiply (“soften”) the neutron weight windows by a certain factor, usually 0.5 or 0.7, and create the lower weights for gammas like that. The approach works if you are doing coupled neutron, gamma simulations. Not a big fan of it, but figured I’d mention it. There should be more information out there on the approach as it is often applied to ITER dose field calculations.
