Warning: nuclide Br81 in material 1 is negative (density = ............)

dear all,

does anyone know what happened with this and what should i do?

thx,
auliyah

@Auliyah11 It looks like at some point in your simulation it is predicting that the material is getting entirely burned out – although the number densities are shown as slightly negative, it effectively means that they are zero. This situation can happen for a number of reasons:

  • Your timesteps are too long
  • Your power is too high
  • The volume assigned to your material is too low

I would double check the timestep lengths, the power, and volume to make sure that they are the correct units and that the values make sense.
