MGXS in the presence of (n,xn) reaction

Hi there,

I’m trying to generate MGXS for diffusion analysis, and non-negligible (n,xn) reaction exists in my case.

From what I understand reffering Different k-eff in RESULTS and calculation, neutron multiplication should be accounted for scattering to reproduce the keff value using diffusion code.
So I have used nu-scatter matrix and calculated removal Xs as [total Xs - in group nu-scatter Xs], but I’m still learning theory in OpenMC and not confident about this.

Could you tell whether the method is right or other should be used?

In some articles they use \Signma_transport instead \Sigma_total to calculate nxn correction XS. Have you solved it? I can’t confirm the correctness of this method
