How will OpenMC do when there is no WMP in ENDF/B VIII？

Helle everyone,
I have a question in WMP in different databases.

I know that ENDF/B-VII.1 includes the WMP library, so when the temperature of the material I specify requires Doppler broadening, I will specify the ENDF/B-VII.1 database.

However, if I specify the ENDF/B-VIII.0 database, which does not include WMP. In this case, a warning is displayed, but OpenMC still runs. How does OpenMC perform calculations in such a case? And the results are accurate?
