Hello, in my own core models and also in the benchmark models, when I perform an eigenvalue simulation, the control rods doesnt provide enough negative reactivity. Did anyone have a similiar problem? I know for a fact that its not geometry related since I control it with openmc-plotter. Control rod materials are also taken from benchmark datasets so that wouldnt be the cause I believe. When I fully insert all the control rods, they effect the multiplication factor just 1000-2000 pcm (all of them combined). When I look for the safety reports of nuclear reactor designs, fully inserted control rods usually provide higher than -10000 pcm. What may cause the low negative reactivity of the rods? Any idea would be appreciated.
