Absorber Material Cutting for Control Drum Have No Consistent Response

I am trying to build a simple MSR model with 4 control drum and simple absorber materials.

I am intended to cut the absorber materials at 120 degrees and to align towards the core direction. I used the plane geometry to make the cutting. However, some of the CD’s able to have the cutting using plane geometry but, others do not even though, I applied the same logic CSG to all the existing CD and cell definition.

I made for each CD’s separate plane cutting definition to eliminate any dependencies between it.

I tried to run frequent times in case something went wrong during image generation but, the results still remain the same.

I think you can try to use the rotation and translation feature of openmc.
Here I show you how could implement those features for your case scenario.
