salam to all I need how to install the OpenMC program in either Windows or Ubunto because I got the download cygwin on windows and I’m half way I do not decide what path I follow I need clear steps 1 - 2 - 3 - 4-… I apologize because I am dédutant ---

Hi Abdeslam, First off, have you consulted the users guide? The specific section you would need is [here](http://mit-crpg.github.io/openmc/usersguide/install.html). I would suggest you use Ubuntu if you have an option as all the developers use Linux and I am not sure how tested the Windows version is. In that case, the easiest solution is to install using the Ubuntu PPA as discussed in section 2.1 of the link sent above. If you have any questions on the steps I sent, or if there are specific steps troubling you please let us know and we will be glad to help, Adam
