# ERROR: HDF5 data format uses version 1.0 whereas your installation of OpenMC expects version 3.x data.

Hello. Can you help me please with this error.

I use this command:

./openmc

And it’s result:

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

This error is caused by out-of-date version of data library.  
You could directly download it from here:  
[https://openmc.org/data-libraries/](https://openmc.org/data-libraries/)  
Or you can also run tools/ci/download-xs.sh to update it.
